What is the Cyber-meet?
The Cyber-meet is an annual gathering off MacGyver fans in a real time online chat room. Here you can meet and chat with fans from all over the world, all with one thing in common... they all love MacGyver.

When is the Cyber-meet?
The meet is held annually on the 29th of September, to coincide with the original airing date of the pilot episode back in 1985.

Where is the Cyber-meet?
The meet will be held in the MacGyver Online chat room.

How long does the meet last for?
The meet runs for 24 hours.  Starting 12:01am US Eastern time.

Will I need to install any applications to join the meet?
The chat page runs through a Java chat window on the page. You will need to make sure your internet browser is set to allow Java applets to install and run. We strongly suggest you visit the chat room before hand to make sure everything works.

Will I need to create accounts or login to join?
No. But the chat is running on an  IRC server so will require you to enter a username as you enter teh chat room. If you have an existing IRC account, you can log in with this, otherwise you can just enter your name as you enter.
